Description: Telephone with large buttons that hold photos
relevant to the user. Has a light which flashes for incoming calls.
To Operate: Slide in photographs of
family, caregivers and friends into the photo-dial buttons. Program the
telephone to speed dial these people when their photo/button is depressed.
Application: Well separated buttons plus
the use of photos and speed dialing are useful for those with limited hand
use and poor memory/organization. Proper selection of photos or
symbols with good color contrast can aid those with limited vision.
